Wood Shield

Ever since we put the walls up in our upstairs remodel and covered them with the remnant wood that came off the house, my Moms have been bugging me about making them something out of the left over wood that they could hang in their house. Sadly, like everything in my shop, it took me a year to get around to it, but finally we gave it to them for Christmas. The idea was to hang a bunch of framed photos on and around it. I’ll try and get some final photos up when we visit again. Ironically I just saw something very similar on the Pottery Barn website. Mine’s better though.
