I had the pleasure of meeting a veteran machinist named Larry. Like a boss, Larry started machining tools some 70 years ago, including a piece of plutonium while in the Army. I had the good fortune of acquiring several pieces of his personal collection. The grandest of them was this 1934 South Bend metal lathe, still in pristine condition. While picking it up with the help of my two new best friends Blake and Chris S., Larry proceeded to pull out box after box of parts, attachments and even a mail box. Best of luck to you Larry, and know that a piece of your history will be in every Salty Bicycle.
P.S. The new shop is currently being built out. Look for a launch party soon.
